Privacy and Browser Storage
This page explains local game storage, visitor counting and information used when you contact Word Guess Game. Game history saved in your browser is separate from the request information needed to load a website.
Game data on this device
The game uses local browser storage to keep your progress and daily results, including the daily streak and guess distribution. Practice is kept separate from daily statistics. No account is required, and this history does not automatically sync to another browser or device.
Appearance choices for the game panel, light or dark, and stronger contrast, are saved in the same browser. Clear daily statistics removes the saved daily results, streak and guess distribution. It does not remove the daily puzzle open on the board, practice progress, or those appearance choices.
Clearing site data, using a different browser profile or leaving a private-browsing session may remove access to your saved history. Local storage is a browser feature; it is not an online backup.
Visitor counts and site requests
No visitor-counting service is enabled on this version of the site. The HTML includes a Cloudflare Web Analytics script tag with the placeholder token REPLACE_TOKEN. Until a real token is configured, that tag is not a working counter and it is not linked to saved game history.
When you load the site, the hosting service processes request information needed to deliver and secure it. That information can include your IP address and browser details. This is separate from the game history stored on your device; local storage does not mean website requests leave no technical records.
Messages you send us
If you email us or contact us by phone, we receive the details you choose to provide, such as your contact information and a description of the issue. We use that information to handle your inquiry.
Please do not send passwords, identity documents or unrelated sensitive information. A browser name, a short description and a screenshot with personal details removed are usually enough to begin a bug report.
Your choices and questions
Use Clear daily statistics in the game to remove the saved daily statistics from this browser. To remove all local data for the site, use your browser's site-data controls. Deleting local records does not remove a message you have already sent us or technical records held by service providers.
